| 1983 | Passed an exam and selected to attend the Master’s Class by the renowned Italian opera master Gino Becki |
| 1985 | Passed rigid exams and became one of the first National Class II singers |
| 1986-1987 | Entered into the Mid-career Advanced Training Program of the Central Conservatory of Music of China, was a student of Li Jinwei and Shen Xiang; Completed the program and Graduated |
| 1986 | Participated in Handel’s Solomon with the Central Philharmonic Orchestra of China, conducted by renowned English conductor Mr. John Alldis |
| 1987 | Passed an exam and selected to attend the Master’s Class by the renowned Italian opera master Nicola Rossi-Lemeni |
| 1988 | Received the Silver Prize at China’s National Youth Singing Competition |
| 1988 | Played alt-solo in Handel’s Der Messias with the Central Philharmonic Orchestra of China, conducted by renowned English conductor Mr. John Alldis |
| 1994 | Entered the Vocal Music Department of the Hamburg College for Music and Theater under Professor I. Kremling |

| 2000-present | Participated in various charity concerts for justice and conscience in Switzerland, Sweden, Britain, France, Germany, America, and Hong Kong |
| 2004-2006 | Invited by NTDTV to join its Chinese New Year productions and perform in its international tour to major cities such as New York, London, and Paris; Acted as a judge in NTDTV’s annual Global Chinese Vocal Competitions since 2007 |
